Scroll previewA rebrand sounds like a colour change. On a custom-built site it is not: every page had its own fonts and colours, and every image carrying the old brand had to go. We rebranded the whole site page by page, rebuilt the blog that was losing the traffic another agency had won, and worked alongside the clinic's SEO and ads teams so the new campaigns landed on a site that was ready for them.
Why wasn't the rebrand a one-click change?
Because the previous site was custom-built, so the fonts and colours were set page by page rather than in one place.
The clinic shared its new branding with us — logo, fonts and colours. We applied it across every page by hand. Every image that carried the old branding had to be found and replaced. It was a lot of detail, and missing any of it would have left the old brand showing through.
- New logo, fonts and colours applied page by page
- Every image carrying the old branding found and replaced
- All page content and meta titles and descriptions rewritten for the new name
- Schema updated so search engines read the new name correctly
What did we add beyond the new branding?
New videos and photography wherever we could, and SEO audits to make sure the rebrand did not cost the clinic its visibility.
We also helped with the change of name on the clinic's Google Business Profile, which has to line up with the website for the change to stick.
- New videos and photos added through the site
- SEO audits run across the rebranded site
- Support with the Google Business Profile name change
What did our audit find in the blog?
That the clinic's SEO agency was winning traffic through blog articles, but those visitors were landing on dated, plain-text pages that did nothing to turn them into enquiries.
So we designed a new blog hub and a new single-article page. Every article now carries lead magnets and clear reasons to get in touch, and links through to the treatment it is about.
- A new blog hub and article page design
- Lead magnets and calls to action in every article
- Articles linked to the related treatment pages
- The clinic's location shown clearly, so people a drive away — Leeds is about an hour — know it is within reach
How did we work with the clinic's other agencies?
Closely. The clinic has separate SEO and ads specialists, and we worked with both so the new campaigns supporting the rebrand landed on pages built to convert them.
We support our clients with their website and with the agencies they already work with or bring in, rather than working around them.
- Pages prepared with the ads team for the new campaigns
- Ongoing conversations with the SEO agency about more localised content
What has the result been?
The client loves the new branding. Early analysis shows visitors staying on the site longer and viewing more pages per visit, and we are monitoring that over time rather than calling it early.
- A complete rebrand across every page, image, title and schema field
- A blog that now turns the traffic it attracts into enquiries
- Longer visits and more pages per visit in early analysis — still being monitored
- A site ready for the clinic's new campaigns
Frequently asked questions
How much does a website like this cost?
Our websites start at £1,000, and £1,500 covers a larger site with full SEO. A WordPress build of this size is priced on the pages and features it needs, and we confirm that number before anything starts. Hosting and care is £200 a year, and you can see your homepage first for £100, refunded if you go ahead.
How long does a rebrand like this take?
It depends on the size of the site and how it was built. A custom-built site needs changing page by page, so we scope it first and agree the timescale before starting.
Do you build websites for clinics in Cheshire?
Yes. We build for clinics, surgeons and practices across Cheshire, Manchester and the rest of the UK, and the work is all handled remotely.
Will rebranding my website hurt my Google rankings?
Not if the change is handled properly. We rewrite titles and descriptions, update the schema, audit the site afterwards and line up your Google Business Profile with the new name.
Can you work alongside my existing SEO or ads agency?
Yes. On this project we worked with the clinic's SEO and ads teams so new campaigns landed on pages built for them.
Do you build on WordPress?
Yes. This site is WordPress. For many smaller businesses we hand-build instead, because it loads faster and needs less looking after.
