We took our own advice, finally.
We spend our working lives telling other businesses that their website is costing them work. Then you look at your own and realise you have been the plumber with the dripping tap.
So we rebuilt it. All of it. One hundred and thirty-seven pages, from nothing. It went live today.
If we have built or looked after your website, we will design a concept of your new homepage and show you — free, and with nothing to sign. Everyone else pays £100, refunded if you go ahead.
What was wrong with the old one
It was not broken. It loaded, it looked reasonable, people found us through it. But it had one real problem: it was mostly about us.
Nine years, more than a hundred UK businesses, and the work itself was buried. A visitor had to take our word for it. In this trade that is backwards — nobody buys a website because of an agency’s About page. They buy because they saw something they liked and thought, I want that.
The old site also sat on WordPress. That is not a criticism of WordPress; we still build on it where it is right for the client. But for our own site it meant every small change was slower than it needed to be, and there was a plugin stack underneath doing work that a static page does for free.
What we changed
The work does the selling now
Almost every page carries real captures of real client sites — not mock-ups, not stock. There are live scanners you can drag through to move from a client’s homepage into a section of the same site. There is a gallery of every site we have built and a before-and-after page where you can drag between the old site and the new one.
Go and visit any of them. They are all live. That is the point.
Static, not WordPress
The whole site is hand-built static HTML on Cloudflare, generated from Python build scripts. No theme, no page builder, no plugins to update. It loads faster, there is far less to go wrong, and a copy change is a one-line edit and a rebuild rather than clicking through an admin panel.
It also means we can move quickly. A new case study or a new landing page is minutes, not an afternoon.
You can buy a website on it
Every price is on the site. No quote form to fill in before you find out whether you can afford us, no discovery call to establish your budget. Pick what you want and pay for it online if that suits you.
Most people still message first, and that is fine. But we have never understood the agencies that hide the number.
Enquiries got easier
An enquiry form on every page, WhatsApp on every page, and after you send something you land on a page that tells you exactly what happens next and asks you to send over your photos and your logo so we can get moving. Small things, but they take days out of the start of a project.
SEO and UX, properly
Every page has a written title and description, a proper heading structure, schema markup and a canonical tag. The whole thing was checked page by page before it went anywhere near live.
That part was not glamorous. It was weeks of work that nobody will ever notice if we did it right.
Was it worth it?
Ask us in six months and we will give you a straight answer with the numbers on it. Right now it is days old, so anyone claiming results already would be making them up.
What we can say is that it does the job the old one did not: it shows people the work rather than describing it. And it is ours — if we want to change something we change it that afternoon.
Now the offer, and it is a real one
If you are already a client of ours: we will show you what a new site for your business could look like, for free.
Not a template with your logo dropped in. An actual concept for your homepage, designed for your business, so you can see what is possible before you decide anything. There is no catch and no obligation — plenty of people will look at it, like it, and stay exactly as they are. That is genuinely fine.
Some of the sites on this site are five or six years old now and still doing their job. Others were rebuilt and immediately started pulling in work the old one never did. The only way to know which yours is, is to see it.
Fill in an enquiry, drop us a WhatsApp, or reply to this if it landed in your inbox.
Everyone else: the same thing is £100, and it comes off the price if you go ahead. So it is free then too, really — just later.
Have a look
Start with the before and after page if you want to see the difference a rebuild makes, or the gallery if you just want to browse. Every price is on the pricing page.
And if something on the new site is broken, tell us. We would rather hear it from you than find it in six weeks.
